Yazz Atmore is just a scattered brain barefoot babe who likes to dance with words, play in the spirit world & dabble in art magic. Having created her own degree from Metropolitan State University, Yazz obtains a BA in Supporting High Risk Youth through the Arts. She has exhibited in museums, galleries and artist-run spaces domestically and internationally. Some select shows include her solo show Crossroads (Alto Gallery), Black Futures in Art group exhibition (Diary Arts Center), and the co-curated show, Sacred Offerings (Second Dawn Gallery). Residencies Atmore has completed are with QC Family Tree (2026), La Napoule International Artist Residency (2024) and Redline Contemporary Art Center (2022-2024). Her most recent public art projects include the Golden History Museum, University of Colorado Boulder and the Pauline Robinson Denver Public Library. Currently, she is the co-organizer of Kinship Arts Movement and a traveling teaching artist around the country.

Yazz is a community organizer, creative & educator currently mentoring and creating with young emerging artists as they explore their lives, stories, and passions through the beauty of art. Constantly, inspired by the youth + community she works with, Yazz continues to develop & deepened her own artistry as a collagist, muralist & floral enthusiast. Her art explores and dabbles in the themes of spirituality, ancient and ancestral wisdom, nature & afro-futurism through story telling, collaging and the building/ re-building of worlds. Her work is also heavily influenced by her spiritual journey as she loves exploring the unseen realms with Spirit, Ancestors & her Spirit Team. As an expressionist intuitive mixed media artist she creates breathtaking floral pieces, hand cut analog collages and digital collages, with the use of bold colors, metallic and gold accents.
